TRAINING COURSE

Definition:

 The BA Islamic Teachings Concentrating on Dissemination and Relation program is a level in which students learn the specialized courses after passing seminary and general courses and on successful completion of the program they will be awarded BA Islamic Teachings. The meaning taken by relations in this program is having effective knowledge about the practical tools that are used in modern dissemination.

 

Aims:

 The BA Islamic Teachings - Dissemination and Relation program presents the seminary and academic courses with the following aims:

1.Making the select students of the Al-Mustafa International University familiar with the principles and necessity of dissemination in today’s world

     2. Recognizing various communication systems including individual and collective, internal and external and getting to know how they affect their audiences in a vast domain

      3.Getting familiar with how the international communication network affects the audiences

    4. Utilizing the world latest technology regarding communication and its expansion model and comprehending the methods of Godly ideas to develop internationally by logical use of the available tools.

 

Importance and Necessity:

 In order to disseminate and expand the Islamic principles and defend the religion of Islam, it is necessary to educate more and more Muslims to become part of a united communication system which came along with industrialization process. Therefore, for the disseminating network it is necessary to have the knowledge of dissemination along with communication skills and the MIU, due to its responsibilities, should also follow the same rule used in the disseminating networks.

The students’ familiarity with the modern techniques of dissemination and the tools used in it, i.e. communication and recognition of the networks affecting people and societies are one of the major keys to success in the issue of expanding the principles of religion and development of the religion.

 

Program Structure:

The program of BA Islamic Teachings - Dissemination and Relation is studied over 5 years.

The education system is based on credit hour.

Each theoretical course is 16 hours which is studied over 16 weeks

Each practical course is 32 hours.

Total credits in the BA Islamic Teachings - Dissemination and Relation are 191. The major part of the courses is theoretical and research-based along with some lectures. The courses are presented under the four categories as the following table:

Role and Effectiveness:

 

      On completion of the course, students are expected to:

      a. Be familiarized with the seminary courses (of this level) and apply them in their upper levels.

      b. Be familiarized with the fundamental reflections titled Islamic teachings within the framework of religious beliefs and  expand their knowledge of them as the essential parts of the religious instructions so much so that their knowledge is  expertise of dissemination and communication, could practically recognize the regions surrounded the Islam world,  rightfully disseminate Islam and finally defend Islam in a logical manner and expand and introduce the Islamic culture in  its birthplace.

      c.The students become prepared for the upper educational levels of MA and PhD.

      d. The students become familiar with the modern research methods in their field of study.
