Definition: MA History of Ahl-e Bayt (a.s) is one of the specialized programs in the field of Islam history which is studied in the postgraduate level concentrating on the history of Ahl-e Bayt (a.s) in the passage of history and considers it from different dimensions, namely political, social, cultural, and others, in the world of Islam. Program Objectives:
Necessity and Importance: The history of the Shiite is an important one among all the other Muslim sects; since through them we can find about the history of the Prophet (s.a) and His Ahl-e Bayt (a.s) which are bonded to each other and beside that we understand about Shiite governments, sects, scholars and acquire a better understanding of the Shiites which results in a proper planning for the future. Apart from that, since the scholars of Al-Mustafa International University come from different parts of the Islam world acquiring the knowledge of Ahl-e Bayt (a.s) is a necessity for them. Role and Effectiveness: The graduates of this program, with the acquired skills from historical studies, will be able to function as expert researchers inside and outside their countries and work in academic institutions. They can also continue their education and have a more effective role in expansion and elevation of the Shiite culture and civilization as well as exhibiting it to different societies and be useful in achieving the abovementioned objectives.
