TRAINING COURSE

Definition:

 

PhD Family Jurisprudence is one of the highest taught-research based programs in the field of Family Jurisprudence. Students pass relevant course units and conduct research studies. They are conferred PhD Family Jurisprudence over successful completion of credited course units.

 

Programs objectives:

 

  • Developing deduction skills in the field of Family Jurisprudence

  • Instructing researchers and consultants in the field of Family Jurisprudence

  • Instructing lecturers to teach in local and international seminary schools and universities

  • Producing knowledge and developing the knowledge in the field of Family Jurisprudence

  • Providing academic support for Islamic viewpoints regarding family system in relation to other schools of thought and providing answer to relevant questions

  • Providing academic support of Ahl-e Byat (a.s) while respecting other Islamic sects

 

Educational Policies:

 

  • Making jurisprudence practical within the framework of family system according to Islamic viewpoints

  • Considering regional and national needs while respecting other Islamic sects

  • Adopting research approach

  • Attempting to make the program practical

  • Having attention to academic workshops through coordinating with relevant institutions

 

Admission:

 

Applicants who studied MA Family Jurisprudence can apply for the program provided that they fulfill general and special qualifications.

 

Note: Applicants with other qualifications may be admitted for the program provided that they pass the pre-requisite course units.

 

Program structure and duration:

 

  • Students shall pass 80 credits during five years (10 semesters); this duration can be extended for a maximum of one year

  • 40 per cent of the credits are allocated to research-based course units

  •  Students are required to present a thesis calculated18 credits

  • Each theoretical credits is 16 hours and each practical credit is 32 hours

Importance and necessity:

 

Running PhD Family Jurisprudence is necessary and important due to ever development of Jurisprudence, appearance of new issues, vast needs of society to practical and detailed answers, and the importance of expansion of Jurisprudence in all aspects of individual and social lives in Islamic society.

One of the substantial issues in everyday life within the field of Jurisprudence is concerned with family issues. Accordingly, Al-Mustafa International University has arranged to run Family Jurisprudence program so as to prepare the grounds for development of the field of jurisprudence and fulfill the jurisprudential needs of societies. 

 

Role and effectiveness:

 

Graduates of the program, with their knowledge in Jurisprudence are able to infer relevant family jurisprudence and answer relevant questions raised by other religions and sects.
